Neil has an extensive background in the tax profession including 17 years at the Australian Taxation Office and over 20 years as a leading tax trainer in TaxBanter and Webb Martin. Neil is well known as a presenter of enjoyable and practical tax seminars in all areas of taxation.

Michael is a Director of TaxBanter with responsibility for strategic direction and marketing of the business. He brings experience from his extensive and varied tax and business background.
Michael is also a Director of Webb Martin Consulting, one of Australia’s few independent tax consulting practices as well as Director and Technical Panellist for TaxEd, a dedicated taxation support and education service for the Government and Not for Profit sectors.
Daniel Biancardi is a Chartered Accountant and has worked in tax advisory and tax training roles for over 15 years. He started his career in Business Services at a small practice in Sydney and then moved into tax advisory roles at PwC, BDO and Prosperity Advisers. While at BDO he was responsible for developing and delivering a national tax training program across all their state offices. Daniel has also held a senior training role at The Institute of Chartered Accountants and has presented hundreds of tax training sessions to undergraduates all the way up to Partners and Directors. Daniel is both well known and well regarded in the tax training field.
Daniel has always been passionate about tax training and in 2013 he foundered Talking Tax to provide practical and relevant tax training to accounting firms. Talking Tax grew rapidly and began servicing accounting firms in Sydney, Newcastle and Brisbane. In 2017 Talking Tax transferred its tax training business to TaxBanter and Daniel continues to provide tax training sessions to a multitude of clients.
Jenny commenced her working career in 1985 for the then State Bank of Victoria. In 1990 she began working for a regional CPA firm where she gained experience in regional tax issues, particularly primary production.
In 1996 Jenny made the move to Webb Martin where she assisted with tax consulting, contributed to the writing of training material and ultimately became a tax trainer. From here Jenny became part owner of Practising Tax until the acquisition of Practising Tax’s tax training business by TaxBanter.
Veronica has over 30 years’ of specialist tax experience dealing in a wide range of income tax and indirect tax matters. She has a vast range of experience from tax training, consulting and business services as well as senior management and technical roles with the ATO.
Her specialist tax training includes in house training to small, medium and Big 4 firms, as well as direct consulting and business advice, which has enhanced both her technical knowledge and practical experience. She has also been a regular presenter in public conferences.
Tim has over 15 years’ experience in public practice with Chartered Accounting firms including with Big 4 firms and continues to act as a consultant for several accounting firms ranging from large second tier to sole practitioners. Tim has significant experience in the tax issues encountered by small to medium enterprises and brings these practical insights to training presentations.
Tim regularly presents tax related topics at a range of professional forums on behalf of other industry bodies. Tim is also involved with the presentation of Tax Masterclass material for CA candidates.
Debbie joined the tax training industry after 13 years in Corporate tax at a Big 4 CA practice. Debbie’s high level of tax consulting experience and lively personality have combined to ensure that clients receive an informative yet entertaining training session.
Debbie has practical experience in dealing with tax issues affecting many industries, particularly manufacturing, telecommunications and resources. Debbie also has significant experience in relation to international tax matters resulting from her 1 year secondment to the M&A division of the London office of the Big 4 CA firm where she worked. Debbie’s experience includes working as a Tax Director (Corporate tax) of a Big 4 CA practice (based in both Melbourne and London) and a Secondment (1 year) as Tax Manager to an Australian subsidiary of a global listed client of a Big 4 practice.

Lynne had over 25 years’ experience in public practice in Chartered Accounting firms before joining the tax training industry. Advising a diverse range of clients in most industries means she has the ideal experience and expertise that allows her to provide relevant and practical examples in her interesting presentations.
She has managed clients’ affairs, delivered tax advice and been responsible for staff development and training as a partner in a Sydney CBD Chartered Accounting practice. Before becoming a partner Lynne worked to a senior level in a number of public accounting practices including a Big 4 CA practice, advising in taxation, audit and accounting matters to a diverse range of clients including many family groups and corporate clients covering many industries. Lynne also has professional affiliations at a senior level.

Lee-Ann brings over 14 years’ of tax training experience and is well regarded as an enthusiastic, approachable and engaging presenter. Her strong tax technical knowledge was developed at the Australian Taxation Office, where she held various technical, audit and training roles.
Lee-Ann’s passion for tax training began in 2001 after joining Webb Martin Training and continues on at TaxBanter. From this time, Lee-Ann has continued delivering tax technical training sessions for various providers, including boutique training organisations and professional associations. Lee-Ann’s strong technical knowledge and enthusiastic training style ensures that all participants, from the graduate to the partner, receive maximum value from each training session.

Senior Tax Trainer
Robyn is well known in tax training circles, having been a professional tax trainer for more than 20 years. With more than 25 years in the profession, Robyn has a public practice background in tax consulting and compliance, audit, superannuation and litigation support.
After five years with Webb Martin Training, Robyn established her own tax training business, Cyntax Pty Ltd, which operated for six years. Following Cyntax’s merger with TaxBanter in 2011, Robyn continues to provide training through TaxBanter. She is a regular keynote/conference presenter and participant in ATO/Treasury consultations. Robyn specialises in SME issues, in particular, trusts, Division 7A and the small business CGT concessions. Robyn has an engaging, lively personality and is highly regarded for both her technical prowess and practical style of presenting.
Robyn is a member of TaxBanter’s Editorial Committee and Social Media Committee.
Senior Tax Trainer
Brian has more than 25 years’ experience as a professional tax trainer. He practised as a barrister in South Africa at the Johannesburg Bar before moving to Australia in 1986. He was formerly the National Tax Education director at Deloitte and at Ernst & Young before joining Webb Martin Training in 1998.
During his time at Webb Martin Training, Brian delivered more than 5,000 sessions Australia wide, in capital cities and regionally to public accountants in practice and commerce. Brian joined Cyntax in 2007, and made the move to TaxBanter in July 2011. To date, Brian has delivered more than 7,700 training sessions. His colourful presentation style, combined with his extensive knowledge of tax and enthusiastic delivery, ensures high-quality sessions. The accounting profession recognises Brian as a leading tax trainer.
Meng has over 18 years’ experience in the tax profession. Prior to joining TaxBanter, Meng was a tax trainer with Chartered Accountants Australia and Webb Martin Training. Meng has provided comprehensive tax training to clients ranging from the Australian Taxation Office, the Big 4, large mid-tier accounting firms and small medium accounting practices.
He was also a regular presenter for Chartered Accountants Australia at their public forums and tax seminars. Meng has also previously worked for CCH Australia where he contributed to well-known tax publications such as the Australian Federal Tax Reporter and the Australian Master Tax Guide. Having worked as a tax manager with a mid-tier accounting firm, Meng not only has considerable technical expertise but a practical understanding and approach to teaching tax courses.
Gary has over 20 years’ experience in the tax industry, including 10 years in the ATO, 5 years in Big 4, and 5 years as a partner and national tax technical director in a second tier practice. Gary has also worked as a tax trainer for Chartered Accountants Australia, and has presented on numerous occasions for the Taxation Institute of Australia.
Gary has a background in corporate tax, having worked in policy and legislation in Canberra on a number of corporate tax projects, including tax consolidation, company loss recoupment provisions, and loss multiplication measures. He now also specialises in SME issues, including Division 7A, small business CGT concessions, and trust issues.
Craig is a practicing tax consultant and trainer. He is valued for his practical solutions and extensive experience.
In addition to his training role with TaxBanter, Craig works with Webb Martin Consulting on tax consulting assignments and is a member of the audit and risk committee of the legal training organisation Leo Cussen.
Craig’s past experience includes being a national tax partner at Grant Thornton and more recently, the Melbourne head of tax consulting at Moore Stephens (formerly Nexia). Craig has also been in the Big 4 accounting and tax environment and in-house tax and finance roles with large corporates.

Garry has extensive experience in the writing and presentation of taxation material. He honed his skills and built up his practical experience while working at a senior level in the Big 4 CA environment.
Garry’s previous experience includes working as a Senior Lecturer at the Australian School of Taxation (ATax) (UNSW), a Senior Tax Writer at Butterworths/ATP (now known as Thomson Reuters) and a Tax Manager at a Big 4 CA practice. Garry has also been the creator and co-author of eight publications, including Australian Tax Handbook, the author of materials developed by the GST Start-Up Assistance Office, a presenter of more than 170 tax seminars for accountants, lawyers, government and professional bodies and has played a lead role in the preparation of reports commissioned by the Board of Taxation and Chartered Accountants Australia.

Prior to becoming a Tax Trainer, Leanne spent over 15 years in professional practice, commencing in the Big 4 environment in Sydney before moving to the Gold Coast where she managed the Tax Division of a large second-tier firm. During these years she dealt with a wide variety of tax issues across a diverse range of clients.
Leanne now provides training to Big 4, mid-tier and small accounting practices, as well as the Australian Taxation Office. Her entertaining style and her ability to communicate complex technical information in an easy to understand manner ensure that she is a highly sought after trainer.

Fred brings a practical approach to delivering training sessions using worked examples to explain tax principles in an easy-to-understand manner.
Fred has over 25 years’ experience in tax and commerce including roles as a principal in public accounting practices providing extensive tax consulting and compliance services to corporate and high-net-worth individual clients. Fred has also had senior management roles in commerce and industry, including responsibility for financial control and training and development. Fred was an adjunct university lecturer in taxation law.

Nicole is a lawyer who has previously been employed by Maurice Blackburn and the Australian Taxation Office, where she worked in litigation and dispute resolution, and the Aggressive Tax Planning area of the Private Groups and High Wealth Individuals program, including SMSFs.
Nicole has held various senior positions both in commerce and accounting practices and in the community, not-for-profit and charity sector and she has worked on charity regulation reform at the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission.
