Coming from a creative background, Jen started her career as a graphic designer for a registered training organisation working within a close-knit marketing team for four years. Although her main responsibility was coordinating all of the design for the organisation she also assisted with events, social media, website maintenance, recruitment campaigns and marketing reports. From here Jen moved onto a marketing assistant role for an international distributor taking on all marketing and design responsibilities for the Australian branch.
In early 2014, Jen started at TaxBanter as Marketing Manager putting to full effect, her design, marketing and training organisation skills and experiences.
Linda joined the workforce in 2006 as a conveyancer and moved on to a variety of roles including English conversation instructor, service specialist and publishing assistant before finally starting with TaxBanter in 2016. She brings multitasking skills and an eye for detail in finalising materials written by the content team, ensuring materials are provided for each training session and liaising with venues to confirm events.

Helen began her career in general legal practice, before spending close to 20 years in the tax division of a ‘big four’ accounting firm. She has extensive experience in both client consulting and providing dedicated training and tax technical support to tax practitioners. Helen brings a wealth of experience in writing about tax, and a passion for tax learning and development, to the TaxBanter writing team.

Tax Technical Writer
Vindaya joined TaxBanter in July 2011 when she moved from Webb Martin Consulting into the TaxBanter writing team. Vindaya has more than 11 years of experience in tax, which includes working in the tax division at a Big 4 firm, two mid-tier accounting firms and the NTAA. Vindaya is involved in the writing of the valuable Tax Update articles.
Elizabeth began her working career in 1974 at National Mutual in new business/proposals. In January 1976, Elizabeth joined the Freight Branch at the State Transport Authority (aka Victorian Railways) where her duties were varied and centered around the employees: medical condition, payroll and promotions. After taking some time away from the workforce to start her family, Elizabeth brought her administrative skills to Webb Martin as receptionist in 2005 and then similarly to Cyntax in 2008. Elizabeth joined the TaxBanter team in 2011 in her current role following Cyntax’s acquisition by TaxBanter.
Content & IT Manager
After beginning at Kaplan in 2008, Steve joined the TaxBanter team when Kaplan’s tax training arm was acquired in 2010. His role continued its evolution to encompass various facets of development and implementation of training products and technology. Steve brings the benefits of a broad work history to TaxBanter, from database programming and royalties management, to a raft of technical projects with NAB. Steve has also had the opportunity to bring some of his more creative skills to TaxBanter (such as video editing and voice over) as part of the business’ ongoing development of new training products.
Senior Tax Technical Writer
Vesna has over 30 years’ experience in the tax and accounting industry working for, at various times, one of the ‘big four’ accounting firms, a second tier firm and a small accounting firm. She therefore has acquired extensive experience in tax and accounting matters relevant to both the larger corporate clients and the no less complex matters encountered by smaller companies and trusts. She also worked as a writer for Webb Martin in the mid-1990s. Vesna’s qualifications include:

Senior Tax Technical Writer
Yvonne has a broad base of experience developed over more than a decade working in Big 4 accounting firms, the ATO, a law firm and in tax training organisations. This experience ensures she understand the commercial, legal and tax issues associated with transactions. When writing the materials, Yvonne is able to explain tax issues in an easily understood manner and ensures the complex issues are not overlooked.
Liz began her working experience at the age of 16 as a junior with the Permanent Building Society of Victoria, being trained in all areas of the business from Receptionist to Teller to Deceased Estates. She survived several mergers and changes throughout the financial sector to end up changing from a Building Society to the original Bank of Melbourne. After 23 years of experience, Liz felt it was time to move on and took up a position at American Express Foreign Exchange as a Customer Service Officer for 4 years.
Liz then moved to the Over-50s Friendly Society as Accountants Assistant, learning all the aspect of the accounts department. In January 2011, Liz joined TaxBanter, who enjoy the benefit of Liz’s experience, skills and knowledge.
Training Operations Manager
After completing VCE in 2004, Belinda began working with Webb Martin Training as an Administration Assistant in the production team. Over the following nine years, Belinda has progressed to the role of Training Operations Manager, and experienced numerous mergers and acquisitions – having worked under the banner of Webb Martin Training, Tribeca, Kaplan professional, and now TaxBanter. Belinda’s role as Training Operations Manager encompasses the day to day management of the production team, producing/managing client training schedules, liaising with current and potential clients as well as the organisation of the public training program, including venue liaison. TaxBanter benefits greatly from Belinda’s unique and valuable experience gained from her role evolving under the perspectives of many banners.
