The small business CGT concessions offer some of the most significant CGT concessions in the Australian tax law. While the rules in Division 152 of the Income Tax Assessment Act 1997 were introduced more than twenty years ago and the most significant recent changes are now five years old, small business CGT can still be challenging for practitioners to apply.
