Lee-Ann is a respected tax professional with 25 years’ experience in Australian taxation law. Her varied roles include training, content creation and advice, giving her extensive practical experience in the daily tax issues faced by practitioners.
Lee-Ann’s taxation journey began at the Australian Taxation Office where she held various technical and education positions. From there Lee-Ann has worked in both public practice and for several national training organisations. She has extensive experience in developing and delivering tax education to a wide and varied audience, including graduate accountants, big four accounting firms and professional associations.
Renowned for her enthusiastic, approachable and engaging presentation style, Lee-Ann has a strong practical focus, ensuring effective learning outcomes are always achieved.
When not at work, Lee-Ann can be found on the netball court, on a run or in the great outdoors with her family.
Helen began her career in general legal practice, before spending close to 20 years in the tax division of a ‘big four’ accounting firm. She has extensive experience in both client consulting and providing dedicated training and tax technical support to tax practitioners. Helen brings a wealth of experience in writing about tax, and a passion for tax learning and development to the Taxbanter writing team.
Tiffany has over 25 years experience in the tax profession undertaking roles within accounting firms (including the Big 4), corporates (including multinationals) and tax education/advocacy. Over this time, she has managed client portfolios, in-house tax functions and has also worked as both a tax technical writer and workshop/seminar presenter.
Tiffany is also a registered tax agent and an Australian Lawyer admitted to the Supreme Court of Victoria.
Her outside interests include travelling, reading and keeping fit.
Karen has over 25 years experience in the tax profession, first as a practitioner and more recently as an educator. She trained with the Big Four and initiated her own successful small practice before moving to Hayes Knight as a Partner.
Prior to joining TaxBanter, she spent many years as a trainer and technical writer for Webb Martin Training, and then most recently TaxBytes. She is also a regular presenter and consultant for our affiliate Knowledge Shop.
Karen loves to talk tax. She has provided tax training to clients ranging from the Australian Taxation Office to accounting firms, both large and small. Her specialty is translating complex content into something meaningful, engaging and practical for her clients, no matter their level of experience.
